Now more than ever we should be able to pick which platforms we play with
While this feature should of been in game from the beginning of crossplay but now that next gen consoles requires crossplay on to play with the previous generation is making player bases smaller and we dont all wish to play with every platform. Dedicated servers reduced the player pool due to server limitations (uk/us cant match 95% of time) but now next gen console cant even play with the previous console due to this so if you have crossplay off now youll spend ages waiting around to the point you might as well hardly play. GIVE US THE CHOICE which platforms to match with. for example id be okay just matching with playstation and xbox both generations but would rather not match with windows, steam, switch.
Yes i dont wish to verse PC players, my experience is not enjoyable from un-needed toxic and rude behavior, edited settings from filters to stretched screens to straight up hackers which id personally just prefer to avoid if im going to play the game. switch well i dont think its hugely fair and connection issues seem to be more common. but it should be my choice so dont get mad or say "turn crossplay off" because now youll wait even longer and you might as well stop playing the game which isnt really fair
