Has anyone been hearing gunshots?

Sometimes when I'm playing I hear what sounds like Deathslinger's gun go off but it's sometimes not the case. I've noticed it the most on Father Campbell's Church and I tend to hear more often than not against Plagues and Pyramid Head.

I just wanna know if it's my game that's bugged or if the game itself is bugged.

EDIT: After further playing, I have determined it is a result of Pyramid Head using his ability when outside your terror radius, usually on the other end of the map.
