How do I fix my skill checks bug?

Hello,

I play Dead by daylight on my pc. But when I do skill checks. they don't work. I can hear the sound. but don't see a circle. yet it does damage and makes noise. I also reinstalled it. and still have the problem. Does anyone have this problem and does anyone know how to fix this?
