The pipping system for killers is unhealthy

You basically are forced to slug for the 4k at the end, if you want the pip. I hate it, it's a waste of time and also not cool for the last 2 survivors. i've basically won the game already, but if i want to pip safely i have to do it (especially if some people suicided on hooks/ DC'd or died on second/first hook).

Had 3 games were this happened today, totally won and dominated but no pip because last survivor got hatch or gates....

Then i had a game with Wraith on Ormond, hooked everyone twice because i dominated hard in early and mid game, but in the end i've eaten two DS and except for 1 they escaped (good reminder that you have to get a kill earlier if you want to win aka "tunneling"). So i had 9 hooks and i didn't ######### pip...

Next game with Demo, i had 6 hooks and no kill and got de-pipped... probably deserved in this case, but it's just unfair that the end result of 5 games today is -1, even though i won 3 of them and was pretty good in 4 of them.

  • You’re not being punished for a single survivor escaping, you’re lacking in other areas. The only objective isn’t to kill survivors. Make sure you’re proactive in kicking gens, preventing healing, winning chases, ect. There is a bunch to do. You can pip from even a 1-2k if you get enough points. Points are a good indicator, the more points the more likely you are to pip from my experience. May just be me.
