Disabling cross - play

Can someone tell me how? I'm on PC and whenever I go to my settings to disable it the box shows up grey and won't let me uncheck it.

    You have to be in the start menu, when you load the game and not in a search lobby. Go to the settings and you can disable crossplay from there.
