Dying light perk, question

Hello all,

This perk is deactivated when the obsession is dead? When my obsession is dead the icon is still on... does it work like "let's save the best for last", if you kill you don't win any more chips but it still works?

If the Obsession dies, it's off. You keep your tokens, so if Obsession changes, the perk reactivates but otherwise no. No Obsession = No Perk. It completely deactivates. If the Icon is still on, then it's a visual bug because the the perk isn't working anymore.

A new survivor can become the obsession if you're using the perk Nemesis and they drop a pallet on you, or if they stun you with Decisive Strike.

For the People, Decisive Strike, Nemesis or Furtive Chase are perks that can reactivate the obsession

Furtive Chase won't work if the Obsession is dead, because it requires someone to unhook the hooked obsession.
