Maybe give the ability to re-open the hatch if you equip the perk, especially with the new hatch close mechanic, maybe this could become a good perk to run where if the killer knows where the hatch is, he/she will close it, but with Left Behind, you can either escape with the trapdoor, or use the repair increase on generators to escape or distract the killer.

    Fixing a generator once the hatch was closed by the killer re-opens it, fix a generator and go back to the hatch, if the killer keeps closing it just fix all generators until you can open the exit gates

    But what if the killer closes the hatch and he has whispers? Obviously Left Behind is a situational perk but it could be useful if it was like a killer who knew your location and you knew where the hatch was but he closed it. But I can see where you're coming from, it's just a suggestion, always expect some criticism with new ideas.
