You cant. Again, devs are struggling to code properly. This one can safely be chalked up to Covid making their already difficult jobs even more of a headache
This happened to me as survivor, the killer had me dead to rights but the game cucked him, exact same situation on rancid abattoir at a jungle gym hook he was literally on me but it gave the hit to the person i was unhooking.
I'm glad i wasn't the killer, i'd be frustrated ngl thats some straight bs.
It probably registered you as attacking xxx Milliseconds earlier, so when you looked like you hit Ace, the game thought you hit Meg.
You need to keep in mind hat hitboxes from survivors while unhooking are suuuper wonky.
You pretty much have to directly face the unhooker in order to hit him or else you either hit the hooked person or,my personal favourite,nothing :D
Probably due to when you started the hit the closest survivor to you is the one being unhooked so your hit box and Megs are where the hit will register. While yes you end up looking at Ace when the hit completes the animation with aim dressing had already calculated whom to hit.
