Ultra-Rare Add-On Concept for Hillbilly and Leatherface

I originally posted this in Balance Feedback but the post didn't get enough discussion, so I decided to post it here where more people would see it.
That and I also realised that item and add-on ideas are better suited for General Discussion rather than Balance Feedback anyway.

I came up with an idea for an ultra-rare add-on for The Hillbilly and The Cannibal a while ago. With Chapter 9; Shattered Bloodlines coming out soon, it introduces the Broken status effect which prevents Survivors from returning to full health. Like a "temporary No Mither", as the community seems to call it en masse.
So I decided, why not capitalise on this status effect, while at the same time bringing Billy and Bubba closer to the add-ons conformity that the devs want for all Killers?
BHVR are trying to make every Killer have the same amount of add-ons in rarities. This includes two ultra-rares for each Killer.
This add-on is also an Iridescent add-on, which explains why it would be so powerful;
IRIDESCENT CHAIN
A chain molded from the Fog itself. It cleaves through flesh and bone like nothing, leaving irreparable ruin its wake.

  • Survivors injured by the chainsaw suffer from the Broken Status Effect for 60 seconds of Injured State.
  • The status effect does not count down if the Survivor is Dying or Hooked.
  • Should a Survivor not be instantly downed by the chainsaw, Broken is still applied.
  • Broken is removed if a Survivor is injured again.
  • Does not stack with Grimy Chain or Rusted Chain.

This add-on, I believe has fair limitations set in place, as well as conditions;

  • The status effect not counting down when dying or hooked prevents it from ending before a Survivor can be saved from the hook.
  • Having Broken removed if a Survivor is hit after it's been applied prevents the Killer from slugging Survivors into a perpetual permanent Broken.
  • Preventing it from stacking with Grimy Chain and Rusted Chain, prevents excessive ease of slugging with increased healing difficulty.
  • Still applying Broken if a Survivor isn't instantly downed, allows for it to work alongside Speed Limiter for breaking Survivors without downing them instantly.

What do you think?

Comments

  • useless addon tbh.

    reduced charge time is much better since the chainsaw is a 1 hit anyways. Why care about broken?

    Hillbilly ultra rare should be something like:

    Your chainsaw is completely silent and suffers no stun penalty when bumping into objects.

    It changes the gameplay and is powerful at the same time.

    Leatherface:

    Your chainsaw tantrums no longer ends until you hit an object or a survivor, gain increased speed up to a max of X% while chainsaw tantrums continue.
