Matchmaking and DC's
Though many game companies take different approaches to mitigate rage quitting/disconnects, there is a highly possible one that BHVR can look into.
Instead of relying on the typical DC penalty of waiting for X amount of time based on the amount of times you DC, use a separate matchmaking pool. Applying to only the avid DCers instead of the typical ones that may disconnect due to power, connection to host, or real life issues. Using a separate matchmaking pool, group all the rampant DCers together in their OWN matchmaking pool while the regular matchmaking pool, the people who don't/hardly DC, can still enjoy their games in peace without the worrying as much with the people quitting during the game session.
Again, this would cut out DC penalties that are applied to those who didn't even mean to DC in the first place. While separating the ones that do into their own category. At what point would they be separated and when would they return to the regular matchmaking pool would be up to BHVR.
If you need an example of how this works, Marvel vs. Capcom uses this method.
