Question for the community of both sides

As most of us know dead by daylight is not the most polished game. So that's why im asking this would the community be upset if dead by daylight was down for fixing .

I was thinking why dose dead by have so many bugs and i started thinking about identy v and how everynow and then they close the game for fixing and metnance.

As some may know the devs of dead by wern't expecting the game to blow up so they used blueprints to set the Foundation and while blueprints work they are but not very flexible makeing bugs that seem irrelevant to updates such as the hill issue. 4 years later here we are .

So my question that i will be makeing a pole for is. would the community of DbD be ok with the game beibg down one or twice a week for a few hours if it helped fix big isseues?

(Edit typo)

Any significant downtime would kill the game. Once you break the addiction, there is little point in returning.

I would rather see them stop trying to add content and features, and spend a whole chapter fixing this crap.

So basicly what i said it wouldn't have to be down for a day like a hour or 2. One a week or something. And takeing a entier chapter to fix the game will help but the game might die. like rainbow 6 when they did operation health it greatly helped the game but it almost died in the process

Couple of hours might not be too bad, but I seriously think they will break more than they fix. This needs to be a massive, get it right the first time effort.

They're being bolstered by quarantine and silent hill right now, but with the horrendous balance and endless screw ups, I don't know how much longer this game will hang on.
