BHVR, please consider looking at The Clown's under-whelming power
The Clown has been in the game for 2 years, and since then he has had hardly any changes and has not been able to adapt to all the states of the game. As of right now, he is just a worse Freddy without any way of traversing the map. Even if you somehow gave him mobility to quickly move across the map, Freddy still can have passive slowdown from add-ons and he has more snares. There is not a lot of reason to play him besides his add-on, Redhead's Pinky Finger, which itself is just similar to Iridescent Head and is not fun for the survivor. His power alone is not even that fun for the survivor either. It is very basic and it looks very rushed. I feel like BHVR, if you want to make him not the worst killer in the game, you must rework him. Not give him a small buff, but rework him.
Right now, his reload ability is his worst downside. 5 seconds, of doing nothing, is much, much more than what it seems. After many games of playing clown, (I am not new to him, he is my main and I have him prestige 3 and use his best perks) if you do not get a super good early game, you just can't reload. You simply have too much pressure put on you (Running to gens, having to use PGTW, chase survivors as fast as possible) to waste 5 seconds of time. Mess around for 30 seconds as Clown, you basically lose the game.
If you watch experts like Scott Jund and Otzdarva, they also agree Clown is the worst killer in the game. I too really did not want to believe Clown was awful for a long time, but he is very underwhelming without add-ons and I can't imagine how stressful it would be for new players. In your last graph showing kill percentage and how much played, Clown had the lowest kill percentage. However in that graph it is pre-Oni data and before the ruin nerf, but the ruin nerf only hurt him even more.
BHVR, you have been so amazing with your reworks lately, (Doctor, Bubba, Freddy) please give the treatment to The Clown. A small buff just wont cut it, it has to be a rework that makes him strong, fun for the player, and fun for the survivor.
