In case you forgot...
In case you forgot...
-People can play what they want. Just because they don't pick perks that are on-meta or in your loadout, doesn't mean that they are throwing.
-Killers can let you find the hatch, or kill you.
-Survivors, you can loop to your heart's content.
-Perks are meant to be used. There are broken perks on both sides. The trick is not to enable not just one side to have broken perks, but to break them equally. Is it frustrating? Absolutely. Noed can be more than frustrating. Decisive Strike can be infuriating. My advice? Deal with it.
-This is a game.
-THIS IS A GAME.
At the end of the day, this is a game. It is not your life. This is a game that is meant to be enjoyed. If you are not enjoying it, take a deep breath and realize that you are infuriated over some lines of code. Some people are streamers and make money off this game - I understand the pressure that comes from there. Some people don't have any other game they'd rather play and the flaws of this product can cause some serious rage - I understand that.
At the end of the day: you are not facing NPCs. You are facing people.
Treat one another civilly, even if you're not expecting to see them again.
Grow the hell up. Put your big boy and big girl pants on. Accept defeat gracefully and move onto the next match. Accept victory gracefully and move onto the next match. Getting upset over a match is understandable. No one's expecting you to have a level head all the time - but there is no reason to be toxic, abusive, or inappropriate in chat ALL the time.
If you tunnel or use a cheap trick? Acknowledge it. Laugh about it. Move on.
If you t-bag or snap? Acknowledge it. Apologize. Move on.
The fact that there are such toxic people in this community - and all communities frankly, everyone in the world needs to grow up a little. Especially given what's going on in the world. People come to this game to escape - don't punish them for playing a game the way they want to - even if it irritates you.
Now please, try to make this community a better place by being a better person in game and IRL.
DISCLAIMER: This post is probably gonna get a fair number of trolls, so here we go...
"You're probably a ___ main, aren't you?" -- I'm a survivor main. Can't play killer because it makes me nauseous.
"You're probably abusing these perks and someone called you out, didn't they?" -- I was called out for using calm spirit. Be the judge yourself.
"You make this post but you've probably been toxic or are part of the problem" -- I absolutely have gotten infuriated over matches here or there. I've said some things I regret and haven't had the chance to apologize. It doesn't happen anymore because again, I remind myself that this is a game.
"How can you say this **** given the new update?" -- Well, I play casually. I probably haven't sunk as many hours in the game as some people. I get unbalanced matches all the time, sometimes in my favor. Sometimes not. Occasionally I get balanced matches. I have plenty of complaints about the games, but my complaints aren't going to do much. I'm not a developer. I'm not a (great) programmer. There's nothing wrong with outlining the flaws of an update in a respectful manner, and getting a bit more forceful if your words go unnoticed.
Thank you, and have a nice day.
