Deathslinger Map Bugged Hook

You know the execution stage of the map? If you take the stairs down from the executionstage and go away from it 90° away from saloon there is that one hook. I could not hook a person because a stone from the loop with a pallet spawned right there well 2 meters away but I still could not trigger the hooking because I could only stay way to close to the hook i guess
