Able to join match with invisible items and without consuming offerings

I'm on PC and whenever I join a match as survivor, once I am in a lobby, if I equip an item and an offering then change survivors and then change back to my original survivor, I will still have the item and offering equipped, but they will not render in my survivor's hand. The offering does not show up on the pre-game offering screen, but does show up in the post-game menu. The offering is not consumed. I will also have the item when I spawn in the game, despite it not showing up in my model's hand in the lobby. So far, this occurs 100% of the time for both me and one of my friends. I can provide logs, video, etc. if needed but this is easily reproducible.
