The BP rewards from BBQ should be baseline, since the grind is getting crazy.
With every new release, the grind increases exponentially.
(This is assuming it takes 1 million BP to level 1 to 35 and 1 million for every 15 levels past that)
When the 21st killer comes out next month, we will have to:
- Bring the new killer from level 1 to prestige 3, which will cost ~5 million bloodpoints
- Once at prestige 3, max out the new killer, meaning 220 perk ranks (75 perks times three, minus three for having your three rank 1 teachable perks at the start and minus two because you don't level up discordance), which will take 130 total levels, which will cost ~7 million.
- Unlock tier 3 of the new killer's perks on the other 20 killers, meaning a total of 100 level 50 bloodwebs or another ~6.6 million bloodpoints
This totals out at the next chapter adding 18.6 million bloodpoints to the grind.
Assuming 32k blood points per match, this means you would need to play 582 games.
Oh right, there's another side to this.
Since survivors don't need to grind for multiple characters, it's not nearly as bad on that side of things.
You only need to grind 40 levels on the new survivor (~1.3 million points) plus 9 levels on your main survivor (~0.7 million).
2 million points for survivors. Even with lower BP gains, assuming 24k per match, that's 84 matches.
I really don't like that in order to have the grind be even somewhat reasonable, I'm forced to run BBQ. It's decent in its own right, sure, but if it weren'tt for the spirit of capitalism I'd ditch it on half my killers for sure.
