Something to Keep in Mind
So with Billy next on the guttered Killer list who will be after? I'm starting to see suddenly Myers and Deathslinger being a problem for people so one of those is probably next. But even still it does seem for the most part Survivors Mains who are biased tend to get what they want in this game and why is that? Because they are the vast majority and always will be.
So what does this mean for DbD? Well for starters i would not be surprised in the slightest if Killer players start to play even more lame than what some do today (tryhard builds, tunneling, camping you know the rest of it). Thing is the more and more Killers you get nerfed because of your complaining will cause more and more people to either:
A. Quit the game
B. Play Killer a lot more lame to the point of where you may only see Freddy, Spirit games at the high level
The way i see it when a Killer receives harsh nerfs this drastically impacts the Killer playerbase. Look at Nurse she was undeniably the best of the best to use against the best of the best Survivors. She's gutted now making her less viable and honestly probably less played i personally never see them.
To which point in a way it forces players to move onto another Killer, maybe Billy. Nevermind just as people got comfortable he's nerfed now and way less viable. So then they try again and maybe go Huntress, give it time i'm calling it now they will remove her Exhaustion Addons if enough people complain.
So what now? Well who knows maybe players simply won't feel like they are the power role anymore thus they won't care about the Survivors fun because clearly with the complaining they don't care for Killer they will indeed start to play more lame. Do Survivors mains want this? Probably not as it will create a much less fun experience for them but the only people biased Survivor mains can blame is themselves for essentially forcing people to lose hope and just not care.
The game is a 4v1. If you see this game as a 1v1 even in Solo well you are playing the game wrong and need to get that mentality out of your head. If the Killer downs you consistently that's not really just the Killer doing the work maybe they are simply just outplaying you? Are you in the open? Are you being greedy? Are you predictable?
Unfortunately nowadays in gaming people just screech nerf for something they do not properly understand simply because they are going against someone who is simply good at the game. Was Billy OP? No he is literally countered by 4 maps rendering his power near enough useless. Lery's, Game, Hawkins and the new Silent Hill Map. Billy was balanced the devs even said they are happy with him so why nerf him? Makes 0 sense. Sure nerf his quick charge addons if you have to but to rework his entire kit with nothing at all to compensate? Yikes. Also 110% Billy Addon lol that's actually quite funny as that was something people wanted for his base kit.
All in all guys when making rants about X just think about the opposing side first because losing 1 game after your 50 escapes in a row is kinda yikes i see it everyday some streamer for example bullying a Doc then next game they go against another Doc who is actually good and they screech OP is kinda cringe.
Think about the future of the game you need Killer players for this game to stay alive. DbD is unique and can be enjoyable at times. Lets try and keep it that way. Unless of course you want it to get destroyed and players get lamer, all the skill is gone etc then so be it.
