So there is like buffs and debuffs symbols on the screen but I have no idea what they do?!

Why isn't there a possibility ingame to show me what these symbols actually mean? Do I have to open a wiki every time I get a new debuff/buff?! How is this not resolved in a game that's how old? 4 years?

    Buffs are highlighted in yellow while debuffs are highlighted in red. You can also see buffs from perks in the botton right corner, Debuff is red and buff is blue

    I already see the active buffs and debuffs but where does it tell me what they do?
