Think of slugging and being hooked like this
in plenary of games when you get killed you have to wait for the next round (CSGO, Rainbow 6, etc), in the next round you still go against the same people. When you get slugged or put on a hook in dbd think of it like you just got killed in R6 and are waiting for the next round or we’ll to be picked up. Then you start to realize it’s not annoying it’s just meant to say “you messed up now wait to respawn”
