Survivor: Elias Christensen

Killer: The Sorrow

Map: The White Church | Grave of Gvenvale

Survivor Bio: Elias Christensen was a teenager with a troubled childhood. From his earliest memories, both his mother and father disowned him, he had no friends, he had nothing. During his school years he was bullies relentlessly for liking flowers. "Flower boy" was his nickname. Although Elias didn't want to care, he did. He couldn't stomach the pain, no child could. He had noone to turn to. Only the flowers would listen to his pain.

Soon after his school years of constant torment he got kicked out of his parents house. He had started working at a close by metal facility. Life was looking up for him for once. That was until he got fired due to his incompetence to talk to other people. Finding a another job was hard. Finding help was harder. All this stress was building up, and Elias felt he had nothing else to he could do.

Elias loved flowers. Whenever he felt lost, he would go to garden. Lilies were his favorite flower. Maybe he liked them because they symbolized sadness. Maybe he found it a fitting flower for him. His story was anything but smiles, after all. Elias, stressed out to the point of insanity went outside for a walk. He went to the garden in the middle of night and sat down onto the bench. The next day, one of the workers from the metal factory came over to his house to offer help, but to the workers surprise, Elias never did come to awnser the door.

Elias Christensen perks:

Life full of Surprises: Life can throw anything at you. When searching a chest, have a slight/medium/tremendous chance to find a second item.

"Life isn't easy, but im sure something good will come out of it eventually"

Optimist: Seeing the positive side of everything always helps. When you get injured/downed near another survivor, give that survivor the ENDURANCE buff for 3/5/8 seconds.

"Even if life beats you up, you cant just roll up and accept it. I didn't do it, nor should you. Look at the bright side."

Spoonwood Flower: Your persistence will get you through this. When you are the last survivor in the trial, whlist you are downed, automatically recover from the dying state in 30/10/5 seconds

The Sorrow Bio:

Denisa Mccarthy was a woman who was happily married to her husband, James Mccarthy. They ran a flower shop at their home town, Gvenvale. Although the gunfires were many in the desert, they were happy. Until the day their shop got robbed of every penny and her husband was shot. In her blind rage Denisa snapped the mans neck and looked at a sign of what gang it was. She was going to make them pay. She later notified the sheriff about their hideout and the sheriff was shocked to see that all of the gang members head had been impaled through their rifles and pikes, their bodies, mutilated and smashed to mush beyond belief. The sheriff instantly went back to town with the idea of sending denissa to a place where she couldnt harm anyone so brutally, the madhouse. The sheriff arrived to the town only to find the town church in chaos. She had murdered all who opposed her husbands burial and she had written in her victims blood, Here lies James Mccarthy, my husband forever and ever. Denissa was never caught.

The Sorrow Perks:

A rose for love

A Black Rose

A song of sorrow

A Rose for Love: A Blood red flower symbolizing love. If survivors are too close to you, they will start to slightly/considerably/tremendously bleed (this does not injure the survivors or make them cry in pain)

Hex: A Black Rose: A Rose symbolizing death. If a Survivor fails a skillcheck, gain a token. At 15/10/7 tokens, all survivors suffer the EXPOSED status effect.

A Song of Sorrow: If a survivor goes into a locker whilst injured, his blood trails stay up for 2/3/5 more seconds than usual.

The Sorrow Ability:

Blind Rage: Look at your locket to the face of your husband and fuel yourself with anger. When in Blind Rage: Cannot see scratch marks, your screen becomes blurred, you gain a small speed buff, you can instantly down a survivor and break a pallet instantly. When a survivor goes down, all survivors scream and notify their locations if inside your terror radius. Has a cooldown. Missing an attack or breaking a pallet cancels you out of Blind Rage.

Comments

  • I have some questions:

Life Full Of Surprises - How many times can you potentially find 2 items? And is it restricted to surface or Basement chests?

Optimist - is there any criteria to activate the perk, or is it purely whenever you make a protection hit the teammate gains Endurance? It would be OP if it infinite. And also, I think it should only work on Dying state if there is no additional activation criteria.

Spoonwood Flower - cool concept, howver i'd change the numbers to heal back to injured to 10, 5, immediately. Currnetly Unbreakable could do that better since most likely you'd be up before the last survivor goes down or is finished being sacrificed/killed.

A Rose For Love - what's the radius that this perk takes effect?

Hex: A Black Rose - very strong but heavily reliant on survivor carelessness/greed as well as potential synergy with skill-check perks. Decent perk.

A Song Of Sorrow - neat idea for tracking, however, wouldn't Bloodhound just do what this does but better?

Blind Rage - built in Infectious Fright, not sure I like that. Is it a Spirit Fury type break or is it a break action involving a prompt that's instaneous? I think there's too many drawbacks to her power to feel useful. Blurred vision and no Scratch Marks = good luck finding a survivor in a LOS blocked loop and in bushes.

How fast are you during Blind Rage? 130%? etc (considering 115% is average at 4.6m/s)

How long is the cooldown of the power?
