If the new killer is chasing you and phases, shouldn't you just stop running?
She would have to guess which direction you walked.

If the survivor breaks LOS with a wall they'll won't know if you're phasing. You can use this as an advantage.
If the survivor stops walking you can always phase out and try to find them again. Besides it's really not that hard to find survivors in this game.
