Green or purple rank surviving?

So I'm a rank 9 survivor and with rank reset in a few days, and as a mostly weekend player, I sort of get to choose.

I would think there are pros and cons to each.

Green ranks.. less reliable teammates, quicker mm'ing. More killer variety. More potential for meme builds.

Purple ranks.. likely more reliable teammates. Possible longer queue times. Probably a more sweaty vibe.

If I weren't working FT this would not matter to me, but alas i'm bored nonetheless.
