Why are red ranks survivors worse then purple ranks??

I am curious about this, during my purple ranks as a survivor I got matched with better survivors then I do at red ranks


I got teams that don't even understand the basics of looping and failing gens

And most of them are bringing self care! Some even bring level 1 self care

Just a bit of a rant because this is making me really angry how when I play killer I get paired with toxic and good survivors, but as soon as I play survivor I get paired with potato survivors
