4th Anniversary congrats BHVR

Well im kind of new here, kind of because im actually a regular reader here in the forum, never felt the need to interact with anyone here nor to create an account. But i have noticed the trend lately (probably it was always like this i dont know) that people come here just to complain and shame BHVR for not achieving what they expect from the game.

Thats why im here today to do the opposite from that, to congratulate BHVR for how far the game has come. I know that there is still a long way to go, theres still a lot of bugs and balancing issues but compared with how the game started i dont think any current problem compares to how the game used to be.

Lets start with dedicated servers, im from Chile so naturally before the dedicated servers arrived i could only expect one of two things from the previous matchmaking. The first was getting a really high ping wich made the game unplayable or getting a low ping but getting in match with the most tryhard teams or killers in this part of the planet. Dont get me wrong it wasnt all that bad, that actually encouraged me to learn the game and to GIT GUD as some of you would say. But since the dedicated servers arrived, it opened a whole new pool of players to get in game with. I didnt know it was possible to have so much fun and chill games, seriously i was able to try new builds some nasty ones some fun silly ones, nothing was out of the table, i started playing survivor more and actually have fun on solo qeue (yes its possible to have fun playing solo), and YES its true if you play both sides you actually get better at the game, who would have thought. I know that the dedicated servers arent perfect but at least for me and the people that i know who plays from around this area, it was a huge improvement from what we had.

Balance has always been a hot topic around this forum, but once again i personally found that BHVR has done a really good work on trying to balance the playing field for both survivor and killer. I must admit that i play more killer than survivor so i might be a little biased on this topic but i do play both sides and i can confidently say that since at least the ruin "nerf" the game feels quite fair. The disparity used to be pretty evident with surviror having the upper hand or at least that is how i saw it, looking back maybe i could have done better but lets be honest DS was pretty broken. I would also like to add to this point that just because you had a bad match doesnt mean that the game is "survivor sided" or "killer sided" there are some things that need tweeking sure but lets not kid our selves not everything is the game fault.

With that last paragraph i dont mean to generate conflict or open a discussion im just speaking my mind, it just feels that some people spend more time complaining than trying to play the game. Im aware that the matchmaming isnt in the best spot right now but it seems that people just chery pick their games to prove a point that for a lot isnt really an issue i think i has been more than proobed that ranks doesnt really represent skill.

Finally im pretty sure everybody knows this already but some people seem to think that toxic and winny posts represent the whole DBD community which is far from true, just like me theres lots of people that do not engage in the forums and arent even aware that the forum even exist most people just PLAY and ENJOY the game so food for thought i guess (not really maybe). Just take a chill pill guys, really if you dont enjoy the game i dont really know what to tell you because i dont get it.

Congratulations BHVR i really have enjoyed myself so far just keep it going and make sure to listen to ALL the DBD community.

Have a great day.

PS: Super excited with the new chapter Pyramyd head what a curve ball <3.
