Xbox One - Deathslinger chain breaking after successfully shooting Survivor

1. Boot Dead By Daylight.
2. Select Play As Killer.
3. Play as The Deathslinger in a public match.
4. In-game, successfully shoot a Survivor.
5. Notice the chain immediately breaking and retracting, despite the Survivor screaming in pain from the hit.

  • Hex: Devour Hope (cleansed at the time)
  • Monitor & Abuse (increased terror radius at the time)
  • Gearhead (active at the time)
  • Discordance (inactive at the time)

  • Botany Knowledge

First time seeing this happen. It's very hard to tell if the Survivor used Dead Hard.
