Putting SWF into a killer to explain how it gives advantages and is better than solo
So as everyone knows SWF gives advantages, this is due to coms being able to share information such as hex`s, trap locations, killer locations, who hes chasing, gen progress, other survivor locations, whos going for the save etc.
if a solo wanted even half of that info all his perk slots would be used. meaning swf kinda by passes the 4 perk system but lets put that aside and just say 4man SWF gains an advantage over 4 solo survivors, the argument is then swf dont always perform better. this is a misleading statement, just because every so often there are bad swf teams doesnt mean swf doesnt make survivors stronger, in fact just shows the swf survivors wasnt good and got to that rank via the advantages.
Putting it into a killer: Imagine huntress, 0 perks, 0 addons. we shall call this the solo survivor. so obviously this huntress can still play well, she can have great skill and show it, might even win alot of games.
Now lets apply some advantages to imitate swf, lets say a huntress with 4 perks, 0 addons. these 4 perks being the added advantage, lets say this huntresses game was the exact same as the previous huntress imitating the solo survivors.
While on paper they both achieve the same result, whether that be the amount of hooks,kills etc. one had the extra advantage right? so if everything was the same, survivor skill and end game result this would mean the huntress with those advantages is less skilled than the one without. this means it wasnt a fair comparison, however lets take that more skilled huntress that had 0 perks before, lets give her perks now... she would now perform better than the other one as its a equal playing field but she has more skill, we learnt this from before and thats how swf works. just because theres a bad swf doesnt mean swf isnt strong or provide benefits, now i only listed the most common of advantages for swf. adding meta perks and high skill players just widens that gap from a solo to swf, thats like a two huntresses exactly the same, one completely blank, the other full kitted out with a crosshair. i wonder which has the advantage. EQUALLY MATCHED SKILL SWF OUTPLAYS SOLO`S.
