Is It A Beast Of Prey Or An Iridescent Button Bugged?

On PS4 I just went against a Legion using this perk and that add-on whilst on Lery's.

Their build was Discordance, SB, BOP, BBQ. I was convinced they had Tinkerer all match, because I would not hear her approaching me until they were close enough to initiate a chase. She definitely did not use the left over Bloodlust she had from other chases to transition since I was a swf duo with my friend and he got downed at the start because of 0 tr.

It's a very niche perk so I wouldn't say I could wait until I see it happen again to validate it. Anyone else seen this happen?

It could have alternatively been a bug related to the Iridescent Button add-on, since she used that too with the build.
