The State of Dead by daylight is worse now than its been in a long time

For context i have 741 hours on DBD and i play an equal amount of killer and survivor and i want this game to be in a decent state i enjoy its gameplay enough to put so many hours in compared to other games i play but since the mid chapter update the game has felt more clunky than usual.

I recently started playing Valorant and Stellaris with friends and i just can't justify bringing myself to play DBD and its only basic small bugs like chainsaws playing over themselves and slightly misaligned huntress and deathslinger shots that add up to the experience being ruined or just the bad lag making it so i get hit on survivor when i should not get hit i would have bought the rift pass like i did during the last tomb but i haven't because i didn't think i would want to play the game enough to get everything but now i don't want to play it at all and i don't think i am the only person who must be thinking this way even with no alternative in the genre, also having a break has not helped anything i know Cote the head dev said something about taking a break from the game when it frustrates you for a week but the core issues i have with the game are not getting fixed and i feel i can definitively say the games in a terrible state, and that kinda saddens me because i "did" enjoy it :(

    Its not dying just the state of the games been in a slow decline and its reached a point i cant bear and its just sad, DBD wont die because new players are still flowing into the game because of its original concept and licences not all will stay but some will and thats good Dead meat tried the game and he didn't stay Ninja hung around for a while even almost hitting the purple ranks.

    But i am a long time player i joined when original freddy came out and left when clown came out not because the game was bad at the time i just got into overwatch competitive i then came back when Oni came out because i enjoyed the game but i this is not like last time i left when i just didn't enjoy it as much as overwatch but the way behavior has been handling the game has actively frustrated me now and i dont want to sound pretentious so sorry if i do but i feel the game is actually getting worse and its not just my perception of it, but i guess thats just my opinion and of course everyone gonna think theirs is the correct one thats just human.
