Quality of gameplay is dropping so much due to the current rank reset/matchmaking system
I am a rank 1 survivor/killer on Asia PC. Not sure about the other regions but recently i noticed that the quality of gameplay has been so much worse. Too many players are not playing at the rank that they should be playing at, resulting in most matches being a stomp on either side. There have been too many games where i see red ranks play like rank 10s or worse.
On the bright side, at least queue times are basically instant as killer now and killer has been a lot easier to play at the high ranks, resulting in every game basically being 4ks apart from the tryhard swf games. I would much rather have the old rank reset system back just for the bigger rank regression since more players are just going to be funneled into the purple/red ranks after each new month.
I am not sure if the new MMR matchmaking system is in place so do correct me if I am wrong here. Do let me know your thoughts about this. Cheers.
