The real truth about NOED

Killers:

  • if youre using NOED youre expecting to reach endgame with alot of survivors left or the need of alot of hooks
  • If youre expecting to reach endgame with alot of survivors left you arent confident in your skill or at your rank
  • If you arent confident in your skill/rank you have areas to improve and learn
  • If you have areas to improve and learn using NOED wont teach you
  • If youre using NOED youre giving up a whole perk slot for endgame when you could be using a perk to avoid getting there
  • NOED will only get the weaker survivors/teams, this wont help you against the more experienced players as you need to learn the other things

Survivors:

  • there are 5 totems, 4 of you. they take 10 seconds
  • there are multiple ways to track totems whether that be perks or items
  • You can also learn totem spawns, harder for new players sure but this will also teach tiles
  • If a killer is doing bad or the game is going easy expect NOED
  • if youre having an easy game you might as well get totems
  • Dont always expect to escape, you wont and arent meant to.
  • You can still get the totem at endgame, you dont have to rush hooks or panic because you know he has NOED
  • You can keep track of the killers perks and assume what hes running, things like corrupt, pop,BBQ,Nurses,Sloppy etc. all have indicators or are often easy to notice
  • If the killer is running NOED it means he`s using 3 perks for most of the game making it easier for you to reach endgame

Overall its on both sides, the perk cant succeed if youre smart about it. if survivors are smart about it the perk is pointless, and even if it works youre still holding yourself back.
