DBD devs do you think it would be possible to make it so if the killer is face camping you that you could kick them and stun them allowing for the survivor to be rescued from the hook

  • No its not possible, sth similar has already been tested

They tested kicking allied survivors, not kicking killers.
  • Face camping doesn't exist anymore.
Face camping was the killer standing in front of the hooked survivor, and blocking the "press m1 to unhook" prompt. Making it impossible for others to unhook.
This has been removed with the introduction of swivel hooks.

    You mean hard camping.

What you propose has been tested and was heavily abused.

What you can do: everyone equips BT and does gens while the killer camps. Once it's time to rescue the survivor, it's a trade off.
  • All I want is to stun the killer if they are camping to allow for escape no more no less

    Sorry, no free escapes.

they tested punishment for camping and it was always exploited

They tested one that they disclosed to the public and that one concept was exploited.
Might as well be accurate here.

Did they test that and didn't work or they just said they did? Last thing I heard was that they were considering it.
  • The punishment for camping is called losing.
  • Aint next patch survivors get inv frames when unhooking?
Yep, which coupled off I-frames from Sprint Burst will allow Survivors a guaranteed get away to the next Looping spot. Made even better by the proposed “negative effects are removed upon being hooked” idea. Pretty Good Job So Far.
