'Two sides of a coin' fan chapter
Had an idea, felt like talking about it. Also, I typed this for an hour and my phone shut down, deleting everything, so it might not be in depth as I'd like considering in retyping it
New chapter: two sides of a coin
New map: Tony's country home
New survivor: Tony Lawrence
An intelligent survivor that can adapt and overcome challenges
New killer: The Alternate
An infuriated killer that uses his rage to hunt and punish the deserving.
Tony was a good kid and had a great life. He had loving parents, good friends, had a nice home in the country, and excelled in his academics. It was wonderful. But as his father liked to say, "nothing can last forever"
On the drive home from school, a speeding car had veered into his family's car, at least that's what he recalls. He couldn't process anything during the crash except the screams and all the glass. He then felt a sharp pain in the back of his skull, and everything went dark.
He awoke to two paramedics kneeling over him. He looked around him to try and process everything. He saw the car, crushed and bent like a tin can. He saw his mother being carried away. And his father. He layed in the grass, motionless and drenched in red. Then it all went dark again. This time he awoke, sitting next to his father. It finally clicked that his father was gone. Before he could muster a tear, a voice in is head told him, 'give him what he deserves'. He looked up to see the speeding man pulled out of his car, nearly unharmed besides minor bruising. He felt a the burn of angervin his core, but it soon vanished as he broke down into tears.
Later on in life, Tony had moved on and lived a good life. His grades were good, he had great friends, and just got his license. Life was overall splendid except for his personal life. He had occasional blackouts and woke up elsewhere, but he just thought it was sleepwalking. He could sleep at any time, considering he always lacked sufficient sleep. His mother had moved onto what Tony refers as a cliche abusive drunk. The voice he had heard since the wreck still stuck in his brain.
One night, Tony came home to see his mother's boyfriend, Charles, beating her senseless. His one reaction was screaming, "GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HER". Charles turned around with a malicious grin and stepped towards Tony. "What, feeling left out?", was all Tony heard before a swift punch to the gut, forcing him to keel over. He had intended to distract Charles from his mother, and he'd done just that.
Out of the chaos and noise, the screaming, the crying, the yelling, he discerned one thing Charles said. "I bet your fathers glad to be dead rather than putting up with you". Tony felt a burn deep in his core as rage swept over him like a blanket. The voice in his head said something, then everything was dark.
He awoke to a horrifying scene. Charles lay in the floor with a pocket knife in his neck, which was ripped open and gushing blood. He looked down and saw his own hands doused in blood, and looked up, stunned, and saw his mother. Terrified. He didn't know what to do or what was happening, so he just ran. As he ran, he heard the voice whisper to him, "Exactly what he deserved".
Later in Tony's life, he landed an average life. His grades had dropped since the incident and he grew distant, and the voice had grown quiet. He got out of court on self defense thanks to Charles countless felonies. He graduated College and studied the law, but rather than becoming a lawyer or such, he took extra classes and had become a private investigator. He enjoyed the job. He got to help those in need, he saved the occasional missing person, and got paid well. A little later, his mother had passed away after a car accident, reminiscent of his father. Then the voice came back, louder than before, but he ignored it. That's all he could do.
Eventually, a special case fell into his lap. Two parents looking for a missing child, a woman by the name of Claudette Morell. He took the case and started investigating. He researched her through her account, 'Science girl' and managed to find some of her close friends. After questioning them, they said she went for a walk and didn't return. They told him where she was walking to and from. While investigating her path, he saw a dark fog by the forest. The voice told him to investigate and he complied. Upon further inspection, he found a cracked pair of glasses, and a strange black residue that turned into a stone like material when he touched it.
After some time, he had to close the case due to no leads to follow, devastating the girls parents, and a part of him. So he took up the next case, one Dwight Fairfield, average guy, reported missing by his co workers. They said where Dwight was seen last, and Tony went to investigate. Similar to the Morell case, the area had a dark fog, black residue, and a ripped tie, a reminder of the missing. Also similar to the Morell case, it was inconclusive and had to be closed, but now he was onto something, a connection.
The fog and residue appeared at both sites, indicating some type of connection. Tony began studying more cases like these to try and solve the puzzle. He investigated a Kate Denson, a Jake Park, and so many more, all over the world, yet they still had the same connection. The dark fog and black residue, proving there was a big picture he needed to find. Eventually, since he spent most of his time pursuing this mystery, he didn't take new cases, resulting in him going broke. He finally lost everything when his career ended and he was evicted. All he had left was a notebook about the disappearances and the connections.
Soon Tony ran into to the father of one of the missing people, David King. This man ended his career by taking legal action for his investigation, even though David's mother asked for him. "Ya shouldn't have gotten involved, ya should've left him to rot, but look who's rotting now" he said with a disgusting sneer. The voice got unbearably loud and he felt a warm feeling in his core, then it all went dark, but this time it was different.
The darkness was broken by the fog and large spider like arms, which were covered in a...black residue. It clicked. The same thing he was pursuing was taking him, like all the others. He began to fight back, ripping a barb off of the creature before he awoke.
He awoke in a forest, next to a warm campfire. He heard an eerily familiar laugh somewhere followed by a scream. The scream. He recognized it. When he researched the Claudettes science girl account, he watched one of her videos in order to better recognize her, and it worked. She was here, so were all the others, and now him, but he knew hed save them and they would all go home because remembered what his father said, "Nothing can last forever, so make the best of what comes next"

The Alternate started as nothing. Then he was dropped into existence. Into the mind of someone else by the name of Tony Lawrence. He didn't have any questions as to why he just began existing, and why in this person's head, he knew why. He appeared in the rage of Tony, of his repression of his anger. He was a creation of anger and despair, as nearly all monsters are. He felt Tony's anger swell, and then he felt different. He wasn't in Tony's mind, he was in charge. He went to see Tony's father. He sat beside him. Observing him. Then Tony took back control. He said one thing to Tony then. "Give him what he deserves".
Later, he had a new desire. He wanted control. Occasionally when Tony's anger rose, he took control for a short time and did what he wanted, which was to make fights Tony wouldn't recall, do things Tony wouldn't remember and more. But Tony didn't have much anger in him. So he was forced to wait. Forced to bide his time
One particular night, Tony's mother's boyfriend Charles, who Tony described perfectly as a cliche drunken brute that they both despised, had begun beating Tony's mother. Tony attempted to get his attention and got just that. He could tell Tony wouldn't get angry, as he was protecting his mother, but Charles said something that let him take control, something about Tony's father. He could feel himself back in control. It was his turn to give to the deserving.
He grabbed a pocket knife and shoved it into Charles neck, straight into an artery, gushing blood everywhere to his satisfaction. He wanted more though. He gripped the knife and ripped through his neck, dousing himself in blood all the while. The knife got stuck on the bone in his throat, so he hammered the knife to the side, shredding his throat with a sickening crunch. Next, he stepped back and admired his work. Then Tony took control again. He ran. As Tony ran, he whispered to Tony, "Exactly what he deserved"
Years later when Tony's mother, a good woman they both held dear had died, he came back, but Tony ignored him. Tony won't be able to ignore him much longer, he felt it. Then he picked up the Morell case. When he did, something seemed to change. Something was talking to him as well. A disembodied whisper, unintelligible gibberish, yet he understood. He led Tony to the spot the whisper mentioned and found interesting items. Interesting to Tony at least.
Tony's obsession with this mystery grew, and so did the voices strength, especially when tony lost everything he had left. Finally Tony had come face to face with the man that took it all away, one of the missing people's father. He didn't really hear they're conversation, only the whisper. Then he felt himself taking control, but it felt different. The darkness wasn't still. It was active, then he appeared somewhere else.
He found himself in a forest. A dark forest riddled with a sense of doom. The whispers spoke to him, and he saw the...entity, in the sky. Spider like talons reaching to the ground, but for what, he understood, the entity was sharing its knowledge with him, its hunger and where he was. This was its realm, its home of sorts. He began to notice that he was in control, and he realized he got just what he wanted. He had his own body. He was in control. The entity gave him control. It wanted him to hunt the deserving to feed it. He accepted its task, and it disappeared into the air itself. He was in control. He began to smile. The entity gave him control, but it can take it way. His smile grew. He can kill the deserving and earn its trust. He can then destroy it and take control of everything. A control he would never lose. He was no longer a voice. Now he was himself. He was...what was he...he was an alternate form of Tony, yes he liked that, the Alternate. He finally began to laugh uncontrollably. Then there was the scream.
He heard the scream directly behind him. His laughter ceased and his smile evaporated. He turned around to see a woman. He recognized the woman. The Morells child. This was Claudette Morell. The one Tony had looked for. He almost wanted to thank her for leading Tony to this place, but he felt something. She was one of the deserving. I punish the deserving
The Alternate's perks are inner rage, punish the deserving, and inevitability
Inner rage: "A growing anger fuels you." When stunned by a survivor gain a token. When you gain 4 tokens, the perk can activate. The survivor to stun you last gets the exposed status effect for 20/30/40 seconds. If you down the survivor in the time or run out of time you lose all tokens.
Punish the deserving: "The deserving get just that, what they deserve." Start the trial with an obsession. When you hit your obsession, gain a token. When downing your obsession, a random survivor will become your new obsession. You can have a max of 2/3/4 tokens. Each token reduces your terror radius by 3 meters. Losing a chase with the obsession results in the loss of a token.
Inevitability: "I am in control, not you." Whenever all generators are competed and the exit gates are powered the perk activates. When a survivor attempts to open an exit gate within 60/70/80 seconds of the final generators completion both gate switches are blocked for 40/50/60 seconds.
The Alternate's power is Absolute Anger. He uses pain in order to tap into the true potential of fury. Absolute anger has a meter that builds up over time into 3 different tiers. You earn the meter by being met with infuriating actions, such as a generator being completed, being stunned, losing a chase, survivors healing, being rescued, or escaping. If a tier is activated, it is ended by either hitting a survivor (except for tier 3) or letting the timer for each tier end. Tier 1 of absolute anger, The Alternate cuts into his hand and covers his eyes with his blood, revealing survivor auras for 10 seconds. Tier 2 of absolute anger, The Alternate punctures his leg in order to gain 120% movement speed for 15 seconds. Tier 3 of absolute anger, the Alternate shoves his knife deep into his neck, releasing the true potential of rage, that and a lot of blood. For 30 seconds, survivors are exposed. These times can be affected by add-ons
Welp, theres my fan chapter, I am not not invested enough to make addons, so yall make some ideas
