Horrible early game lunge bug that can cost you the game

so am i the only one whenever i play demoboi i always lunge in the first chase and the lunge just feels so slow and sluggish, and it's only the first lunge as well, and no i'm not talking about his shred attack, and because of that i miss a hit and that can tremendously extend the chase and sacrifice 2 or 3 generators because i lost the first chase.
