Little QoL change for Deathslinger (reload mechanic)

Right now if you start reloading your gun, you can't cancel that for whatever reason. This is different from any other killer with setup time. For example, Trapper and Hag can cancel their traps placement, or Clown can cancel bottles reload.

My suggestion is to change the reload action from a trigger to a progress: instead of activating it and waiting for the reload to be completed, one would need to activate and hold the reload button for the action to be completed.

At any time, the killer can cancel the reload and suffer a few ms of delay before being able to act normally (the time for the animation to stop and go back to idle, basically).

This is similar to what happens to basically any other FPS game, where players reloading their gun can quickly switch to another one / a melee weapon and use it when the situation calls for it.

I think that would be a reasonable change since other Killers with similar mechanics have that, but I don't think it would be that impactful in-game, his reload animation isn't that long.

I agree, it won't be that impactful, but it adds a degree of freedom to the players, may it be for mind gaming or necessity.

Agreed, it can be used for some interesting mindgames if a Survivors goes towards you when your reloading.
