If you mean hit them with the redeemer? Yes!
If you mean hit them while at the edge of the pallet after bringing them in? No.

No, if they're harpooned while the pallet is down they cannot be hit what-so-ever. You can put them into the injured state + apply the deep wound status effect by letting them break through the chain, but if they just stand there it'll take a lot longer than breaking the pallet, reloading, and attempting to harpoon and hit them again.
So yes they can be shot with the redeemer when they're on the other side of the pallet. If the pallet is down, than you can't hit them with your M1.
