Stacking perks (issue with the idea)

So devs have said they they do not want perks to stack and make a powerful situation for 1 side. Understandable.

The example I am going with is the new perk that blocks gens being worked on if they let go when you hook your obsession. If ruin and tremors go off, and then the new perk goes off, then ruin will only work until thrilling expires. Fine, I understand you dont want a large amount of gen regression similar to pop for free (even though that cannot stack).

Some others that killer have are thana/dying and enduring fury. When it comes to thana/fying, I think it is fine on every killer (but freddy with certain addons), as you need to injure everyone and have at least 4 or so stacks to really put on the slowdown.

Enduring fury was ok at first, but since the devs have put down more loops with unsafe pallets (pallets that you need to get a stun to get real distance), I think it can be a little to powerful now.

Now that I have said what I think about killer stacking, let me talk about survivor stacking.

Both sides have the ability to do this, but a survivor's stacked perks are usually better than the killer's.

Big example is unbreakable and DS. If the person has DS available and hasn't used their unbreakable, you, as the killer have 3 options:

1. Leave the survivor to get back up

2. Take the DS and get stunned

3. Wait out the DS and let the survivors get progress done without any worry.

The problem is there is 0 counterplay to it. No matter what you do, the killer is at a loss in this situation. The most you get out of it is that you put a survivor down for a little bit.

Another one is adrenaline and any exhaustion perk. Normally you wont deal with this, but it is possible. Someone could use sprint burst to get distance, then have their swf buddies pop another gen and get even more distance. They 99 the sprint burst and took a hit, you literally get a 13 second sprint burst and a health state.

There is also the DS, Head on, and inner strength combo. Now you either get to heal, or use DS to escape. On top of that, if you DS stun the killer, you will also get a head-on stun.

The main point about this is that survivor stacks make an unwinnable position for killer, while only spirit enduring gives killer that position at unsafe loops. If there is a window nearby, the survivor can still get some distance from it.

If the devs are trying not to let killers stack perks, why do survivors still have many perks that stack together?

TLDR: survivors have multiple perk-stacking option that keep expanding, while killers are having those mostly taken away.
