What's going on with pallets?

I have been getting stunned from pallets even though I'm not even close.

I have also had several pallets slammed right on top of me when I'm carrying a survivor and nothing happens.

Anyone else experiencing this?

    I'll be standing to the left or right of pallet a step away and get stunned.
