Kill ratios are a thing of the past

Instead of counting kills towards the statistics why don't they do the average amount of hooks a killer gets in a match?

This way suiciding on hook won't make a killer look like they're overperforming but also it won't force a survivor to stay in a game they don't want to

  • i like your idea since now dc is punished it could really work

  • You would still have the same problem, just the opposite now. Instead of hook suicides making it look like the killer is overperforming, it would now look like he is underperforming.

  • What if -JUST THEORETICALLY- a killer actually overperformed and managed to slug all 4 survivors consistently in 1 minute and thus only got 4 hooks in total all the time?

Not necessarily. If they can get the average hook time then they could see the difference of someone getting hooked, going to second stage in 3 seconds, then instant death.

Having the time on hook would help split hook suicide from legitimate kills.
