How to beat the awful matchamaking
Get in chases with every survivor early on so you can gauge which ones are red ranks and which are actually near your rank (im rank 11).
The matchmaker consistently throws in random red rank survivors to try and screw you, so you have to figure out who they are and avoid them because they take twice as long to down and usually have decisive.
The caveat is that sometimes literally all the survivors are red rank, so sometimes they're all a pain to chase.
