DBD x lamb of god

I've been playing DBD and listening to the band "lamb of god" both for a good while and I couldn't help but notice some similarities between the 2. I do not know if its known in the community or whatever but thought it would be interesting to point out for whoever doesn't nonetheless.

First of all, in some of the older songs from lamb of god (20 years ago), a lot of in game mechanics and perks are mentioned in the songs title and lyrics. Obviously that isn't significant, but considering it occurs a few times and combined with the tracklist of their upcoming album it just can't be a coincidence anymore. A few examples of their older songs:

Song: Ruin

Lyrics:

"This is the art of ruin.

This is the resolution

The end of all progress

The death of evolution

It bleeds all life away.

Song: Omerta

Lyrics:

I am the result, what's better left unspoken

Violence begins to mend what was broken

You've been talking, I've been all ears

So we have the perks Ruin and I'm all ears, besides that mending when in the broken status is mentioned such as you do against the Legion or BT.

Although these are striking similarities it's more than likely an insignificant coincidence.

With that knowledge I still heard the similarities every time i listened to the songs or played the game, which drove me mad. But i had put off making this post adressing it until now. Because now their new albums tracks have been released and oh boy.

Basically 2 songs on the new album under the names of: "On the hook" and "momento mori" (i know momento mori isn't necessarily a DBD specific term) have been revealed.

So after i had "laid to rest" my suspicion it just gets fired back up.

Its also noteworthy that the first examples were from songs made a good while before DBD was in development and the new album will be released a good while after DBD has launched (due in may this year). And as far as I know this has never really been mentioned whatsoever, or I am living under a rock (which is something I wouldn't exclude either).

Is there a dev drawing inspiration from Lamb of god? Is there a lamb of god member fan of DBD? Am I going insane? Probably. Leave your thoughts I suppose
