Perk rework

Give me your personal opinion on this possible rework for Tanatophobia

  • Tanatophobia no longer affect healing speed;
  • Every time a survivor is injured, the generators repair speed is decreased by 16%

According to the last Q&A discussion towards perk rework, this could be a possible rework by the way they said to buff the perks to work on their own with less synergy with each others

Btw I main killer so I'd like to talk about killer's perk, and I'm talking about Tanatophobia III

  • You wrote that gens are done faster for hitting survivors.

  • Oh crap, my english is #########, I mean decreased, sorry

  • 16% gen speed debuff that is permanent and can be multiplied is too OP. With this perk survivors would do no gens at all.

    16%? dang bro that's a lot. Imagine that stacked with Dying Light, and then you also bring PGTW.

    Yes, we could change Dying Light in the way it doesn't stack with Tana then

    Dying Light: every time your obession is chased, good skill checks will result in a 10% of regression on generators repair speed, meanwhile great skillcheck don't give any bonus on the progression bar

    If it doesn't actually slow them down outside Gen speeds the perk is mediocre. Slowdown perks are cool and all, but if thats all you can rely on then unfortunately your probably not a very good killer. Having a more versatile build is what makes the difference between a good and bad Killer rank has nothing to do with it. Knowing what your weaknesses and strengths are can make a world of difference.

    A good example is a lot of Forever Freddy were incredibly boosted and bad killers. Only managing to actually do stuff because of the increased times. Forever Freddy was legitimately more obnoxious then old Legion moonwalk bloodhound tech players.

  • Said by someone who's carrying the pic of a survivor let me see you're entitled survivor main, if someone touch your damned generators you get mad and become a salt factory.

    I just suggested a change according to the line of thoughts of developers, you sweaty Feng main. The "versatile" build you are suggesting is probably Monstruous Shine - Zanshin Tactic - Lightborn - Overcharge

    Wow, they gave some constructive feedback to what you proposed, and you just outright attack them? And called them a 'Survivor Main' beause of a profile picture? No need to be so toxic when they were just having an opinion man.

    Not sure if your suggestion was a joke or not but that's essential ruin but worse. Devs removed ruin because it relied too much on the ability to hit great skill checks. Reintroducing this in the game alongside a 10 PERCENT decrease to every good skill check would be a bit redundant and honestly a pretty awful perk for both parties. Killers would want to keep this buff and so would keep chasing down the obsession which could very easily resort in tunnelling.

    No, they said, and I quote: 'Slowdown perks are cool and all, but if thats all you can rely on then unfortunately your probably not a very good killer.'

    Nowhere in this is it stated YOU are a bad killer, they simply said, if you RELY on said perks, then your not going to be very good since you'd be hoping the perks would stop survivors, which is never the case.
