A solution could be a leaderboard
Now, let me "present myself".
I"m a killer main and a streamer, i have 2600hr in this game and wili i know i'm not the best or the one with most hrs, i think i have my 2 coin to toss in this discussion.
I know that wile i dont really care about ranking, i dont like to be matched vs ppl who are gar abowe or under my level, cause i play conpetitively, when i play i want to win, my satisfaction is to see all my target killed or me having made mor pojnts than any if them.
And cause of that i feel bad when i destroy a group that turn out to be 10 level below me or i loose to a group 10 lever over me, i feel a bully in the first case, bullied in the other one.
But worst than that will be to not know any of that.
Did i lost cause i'm bad or cause they were really good? Did i won against noobs or a top notch group?
DEVS, we need a wai to know who we are facing, and a way could be a leaderborlard.
Just a simple list of "average kill per match" "average points per match" average generator, top time being chased by a killer, top pallet stun etc...
God, you can even put a "top camper/ top immersed (time croutched doing nothing) list.
This way we can just put the name of our adversary on the site and say, well, i faced one of the top 100 surv/killer cool!
Is not an easy way to make it work but surely is better than turn this game into an useles "lets go and hope they are not 10 times better then me and i wont even know"
