Talking about buffs and nerfs
There's been threads claiming that devs are xyz because they've made x changes to x side.
Xyz being biased
X being a number
But its not about the number of changes that's important. Its their impact
For example : their was outrage against the balanced landing nerf, but cincidering how the perk is used it didn't end up being that impactful of a change due to it bringing it in line with other exhaustion perks. Of the exhaustion "nerf" where the timer is pauses while running didn't take away their value in a chase. Heck. It's even made sprint burst an even better perk
(and somehow this is counted as a nerf by someone who tallied up all the nerfs and buffs each side has gotten since clown I think... But) No mither getting the broken status effect : litteraly doesn't change the perk whatsoever
Let's compare this to some killer nerfs
The proposed ruin changes : no early game because why would you get off a generator when the killer is in a chase with another survivor? Isn't going to stop a gen or three from popping before the killer even reaches them
The oni flick : the one piece of his kit that got removed/nerfed and then got added again because its that impactful to the onis gameplay. One little thing.
(not necessarily a nerf but) The wraith "rework" : they added windstorm as base kit. But nerfed the movement speed while reapaearing to keep the times to catch up to a survivor similar. At base kit this is utterly pointless and overall didn't change up the viabailty of wraith that much
