Temporary Fix to the Basement Bug
So, if you get the dreaded "shot into space from the basement" bug, there are a few fixes to revert your camera back to normal.
There's the two known options, which are: 1) Somehow manage to blindly find your way out of the basement after the unhook, or 2) Killer actually respects what has happened and drops you out of the basement.
But if those two aren't the best options because you can't see anything, or the killer is a giant asshat, you will have to rely on your teammates to assist. As a teammate going for the basement save, it's best to assume they have the bug on them. Go for the unhook, start the animation, but stop before it finishes. Once you stop, it should reset their camera then you can fully unhook them.
