Ideas for a new killer + survivor + map
Eugen Biskup is a 17 year old, monk novice at the Esath Monastery, which is a run-down, articulately built marble friary. Eugen is very well known to get into trouble easily, and he and his ragtag gang of friends have spent much of their studying time trying to discover as many secrets of the Monastery as they can.
Eugen and his friends break into one of the high minister's office and find a book of enchanted spells, hidden behind the bookshelf. They take it back to their room and flip through it, and find many written charms, incantations, and hexes.
While greeting townspeople and people looking to pray into the monastery, a young woman named Abigail Fletch. She believes a hex has been put on her, because of the constant bad things happening to her in her life. Eugen sees this as a window of opportunity to try out that book of incantations from before, though his intentions aren't all good.
Eugen sends the woman home and that night, he and his friends read aloud the Neith Hex, which is meant to instill some sense of meaning into the individual's life. It is meant to not fix their lives, but to temporarily convince them that this will all weave together, and then send the hexed person into a downdraught frenzy of depression and hysteria. Eugen and his friends are not very experienced with magic at all, and the spell backfires and turns Abigail into a horrendous, spider being.
She takes revenge, coming back to the friary. The monastery becomes her home and nest after slaughtering all the inhabitants, and becomes the forbidden place of entry. Eugen is lucky enough to be the only survivor, but little does he know that Abigail did that on purpose so he would have to live with this guilt of what he had done
Arachne's perks:
Spider Webs - When a survivor is on the hook, Arachne can entangle them in her webbing. This makes the survivor on the hook completely unable to unhook themself, and it creates another task for other survivors to rip off the webbing.
Eight Eyes - When a pallet is thrown down or a generator is completed, you see the aura of the survivor(s) around it in a 3/5/7m range for 3/5/7 seconds.
Silk Traps - Arachne can lay down shiny lines of web on the ground that survivors can get caught in. Survivors have a 25% chance of getting out, but can be helped by other survivors at the cost of them getting stuck as well.
Arachne's appearance:
Arachne has eight spider-like legs that protrude from a large thorax. She has a top half of a human female's body, which is tattered in drapes and torn clothing. Her hair is long, thin, and brown and slightly covers her face.
Eugen's perks:
Trickster - Eugen's scratch marks appear in the opposite direction for 3/5/7 seconds. This perk has a 60 second cool-down.
Curiosity - Eugen can hear other survivors 50/70/90% louder when staring in a 25/35/45° degree cone of them.
Dying Breath - Eugen can heal other survivors in Dying state while in the Dying state as well at -50/-30/-10% of the speed when in Injured state.
Eugen's appearance:
I'm not sure of what Eugen would look like, but I have in mind olive-colored skin, scrawny build, and very curly hair.
