What if the teaser is for the spirits rework and not the new killer? Changing her kit and adding lore reasons for doing so. While unlikely it would be an interesting way to gut a stale killer while keeping its essence.

    Because the spirit isn't being "reworked" a rework in the DBD sense is a mechanics change, an overhaul of the ability/perk/addon.


    In the case of the spirit, the devs have stated that she is over performing, thus it's likely to be a nerf, I don't think the devs would be so naive as to "tease" a nerf.

    I was having the same thoughts but to be fair the time between them acknowledging that Spirit is ''over-performing'' and this teaser is really short, I honestly cannot see them coming up with changes and having them be tested that fast. If they could come up with changes like that within a span of 2 weeks, then we have more to complain about than bugs, we should be complaining on why it's taking so long to fix them.

    It's literally called the Chapter 14 Teaser.


    IDK how they could make it any more obvious it's not a rework.

    Spirit was chapter 9. A rework isn't a new chapter. The trailer is chapter 14. Sooooo...

    For obvious reasons being the name of it saying the chapter 14 teaser trailer. I do believe it will be however her father, or the first yamaoka ancestor wearing the mask and using a katana. Hopefully we will see a survivor added in with this chapter unlike the ghostface chapter.
