So if a player admits to disconnecting in the chat shouldn't they get banned right there instead of waiting for the appropriate #

We literally got people DCing and then spectating everyone die because they don't feel like playing, if you admit to it then that should bypass the automated system, of course that means a moderator needs to see the chat but I put that in the report that they did it on purpose and admitted it.

    Sadly no, it doesn't work like that. Unless they hit the threshold for the DC ban limit than they won't be banned for DCing once or twice, despite admitting it.

    You can however report them for "Unsportsmanlike conduct" since they're admitting to DCing and most likely making fun of you afterwards or just in-general refusing to play in the match. It's considering "Rage Quitting" which is one of the things you can report for in the "Unsportsmanlike conduct" options list.
