I enjoy Tarhōs, I always liked knights.
I'm fairly certain those groups existed. I mean if pirates existed why not the Campania?
-
So does that mean individually per players statistics with that killer or just that killer in general?
Ah, you've all been so helpful.
I suppose this explains why I get matched within 5sec or less with certain killers, it's because their are people waiting in backfill, and I actually wasn't the first person to dodge that p100 lobby!

Looks about right.
Just as an anecdote, I see more discos from red ranks than I do any others.
120
We should all start posting ss's of the red rank 'discos'

Welcome to the club I guess.
There are some YouTubers that do vids about this stuff.
Like TurJay said, if they can't bully the killer they all dc.
But like ScottJund said, if you see they are being toxic, you can outright counter them by simply ignoring them in the utmost.

I’ve only been able to play about ten matches all through the day, but every single one has gone the face camping route. That’s not exactly normal ranks 5-7. We will have 4 cakes stacked, and have a face camping killer. Everyone’s base score will be about 12-14k that gets out. There’s no reason y’all killer mains aren’t making well over 100k per match if you just play the same way that got you down to rank 5.
Are you aware of the frame drop issue atm?
It makes you wanna face camp.
Right now I'd be happy I even found a killer to play with.

wraith right now with startruck/ruin/unding/noed is kinda broken if you want an honest truth. wraith now is easy killer who can get on ur back instantly and easily get free hits on u, its truly bad for the health of the game. i feel bad for solo players that have to deal with this.
Why is it that anything strong "ruins the health of the game"?
But I can definitely see startruck being absolutely abused by killers with aura reading and mobility. Which wraith has both of with add ons.
Still, it is a nice change when getting bullied for playing handicapped trickster then getting nothing but whiney complaints when dominating with a stronger killer in a "How do you like me now" sort of way.

Wraith is decent. But you feel it when you play against good survivor. I play him without addons for a winstreak and i can clearly see the difference. I have many matches where i absolutely destroy but then i have some survivor who make it really hard. If i would get a match with 4 of them and they would do gens i would lose. But there are many killer who wouldnt have a chance against that.
I shot from early 5 to early 3 and still climbing when I switched from Trickster to Wraith so I wonder what rank the author is basing the post on.

Sounds about right.

I haven't tried all his add on combinations yet but I think slowing the laceration decay would make things better.
There are moments where it's better to just go for a basic hit than finish them off with blades.

I recently introduced a friend to DBD (I've apologized many times) and he had some critcism too:
- The grind is insane. To get to the point where you can have "fun" with builds, you need to grind an obscene amount of BP to unlock teachables on characters you don't like, and then again hope they show up in the bloodweb of your preferred character. It's even worse for Killer, because Killer (unlike survivor) relies far more on their perks. To get to the point where you can actually have a decent build, you must spend a crazy amount of time and money. Reducing the cost of things or increasing BP gain would be nice. It's just so hard to get started in the face of the grind.
- It's super difficult at first and somewhat unintuitive. DBD is a niche game, there are people with thousands of hours who are unbeatable and people who just picked up the game and don't know anything about how to play and it's just a mess. The disparity between skill makes games unpredictable, and not in a fun or good way. Either they're insanely good, or useless. The tutorial could use an update, and mechanics could be made more intuitive (looping is weird, but necessary rn)
- The game is repetitive. It's just doing gens each game. It does get boring eventually.
- Perks that might be useful to new players (Visionary) are locked behind paywalls.
Very true.
Kindred and Deja vu are also helpful!

So it's been almost a year now since I've started and I sympathize with what you're saying, especially the survivor aspects.
My suggestion is to hop back and forth between killer and survivor. As killer you don't have to worry about those things as much. Also, you'll be able to freely roam the map for analytical means. Wraith is recommended because of his speed boost while cloaked, just ignore the random Kate that's gonna be following you and run to the nearest pallet the second you begin to uncloak.
Just note that for balance the structures within the realms are randomized. Make mental notes when you see a pallet and vault location. Also, main buildings tend to have a relatively similar layout compared to L, T walls and everything in between.
Wiggling doesn't require much application, the guage doesn't move any faster than the limit so no one's joystick should be snapping. Playing killer will broaden your understanding of the wiggle mechanic and why it in the way it is.
Survivors can strategically set themselves up to be downed nearby a dead or sabo'd hook.If you sabo a hook in the corner of the map and there are obstacles in the way of the nearest hook chances are you'll wiggle free.
As zubatlel once said dbd is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get with matchmaking.
Yes, this is one of those game where you'll be torn to shreds while you're new or just not skilled as your opponent but In the same token all the negativity sorta just washes away and gets replaced with euphoria when you ascend from peony and start winning some. Dying in the first 3 minutes can be averted when the maps structures are utilized properly. Trust me I've been 5gen looped and stealthed by survivors that knew their stuff and I was either too stubborn or lazy to drop the chase. Now I simply ignore the shack early game because It's time consuming. (For me atleast, I'm not as good as OGs like Jae and Monto that I can efficiently moonwalk into bamboozle vaults without giving too much distance.)
That being said the killer doesn't know who the weakest link is by default until everyone gets chased.
See what structures provide the longest chases and make it work for you, when you're good enough to rotate tiles (basically moving from loop to loop) you'll really begin to shine.
TL;DR
I felt the same way but I always came back. Utilize the structures, hiding isn't always the best option, know when to drop a gen or come out of hiding to help a teammate and vice versa. Learn the maps, killers and their powers. Experience plays a big part. You won't become a master in a week.
Make a custom match with friends or something. I'll join If you need a body just to explore the maps or jus wanna swf.
Also, there are a plethora of guides on YouTube. I recommend PainReliever.

Make this man heard
Let's do kyf lobbies.
What platform?

Why can I no longer drop the survivor right after picking up to avoid the flashlight stun anymore, did they do something with the timing?
-
I agree completely with the OP
People wonder why there's a killer shortage on PS4.
I have a gallery of hatemail just from playing this game alone as killer, and even survivor if I don't play up to someone else's standards.
Again if it's a quick FU, no need, but if the player is going out of their way to talk ######### to you for just playing the game, suspensions need to be given out ASAP.
Something needs to be done about the toxicity within conduct.
It is sad that the people exceptional at your game and probably have thousands of hours in it (4 years) conduct themselves in such an unpleasant manner.
There are mmo's where they don't play around, all they need are screenshots and logs and it's a suspension. You do it again double suspension. A third time super suspension pending termination.
We should all start saving the disrespect we get as proof while we just try to play the game.
And again I'm not talking about anything in-game, it's messaging after the game.
You are so experienced but that is what you use your skill for, to berate someone at the end and feel good about yourself meanwhile this person said nothing to you. It is bullying. Again, in-game, I can care less it looks silly, but when you go out of that realm to get your satisfaction I need my satisfaction with seeing some kind of reprimand.
These people no longer feel satisfied simply winning by a landslide, they have an urge and need to exert their prowess once the match is over and pick fights too.

But it wont help a lot. People will play less and less killer, because once a killer is nerfed, like bill now, survivor call for the next nerf, spirit in this case.
IT will hang on the new mmr-system, but for high rank survivors waiting times will either go trought the roof, because there are not many high skilled killers left, or the waiting times take priority to a fair match, and then the mmr is worthless.
Whats needed is a serious rebalancing of swf, which they are afraid to do.
Let's talk about why people play less and less killer.
At first I was against adding the extra objective to survivors, but it seems needed against swf exclusively.
I also don't see why I got paired with nothing but reds like 6 games straight when I'm new purple.
Right now I'm in a loop of hitting 8 and get slammed back to 9.
I will keep trying though, they coincidentally stopped sending hatemail over everything I do.
I don't think they realize they are killing their own community by being toxic to their killers.
You can't have one without the other after all.
-
What rank are you? I am currently 9 on both sides ps4;
As killer I get matches near instantly any time of day, but more so at night.
The issue is that you get alot of swf on comms.
And ofc, they are extremely toxic.
When they survive, they berate, when they die, they berate, when you kill their friend, they berate, and if you camp one of them on hook while gate is open and you want to secure a kill, extra berate.
There's nothing you can do.
Yet I felt surprised at killers running ruin corrupt ebony with hell mode add ons literally every other game when I was survivor rank 6
