    Mhmmm.

So then why was it added?

And how do you propose we possibly regulate it? You can't circumvent Xbox or Playstations parry chat systems.

I'm sure there's some way to block outgoing audio outside the application when the app is running. Enough reports a team member would review that survivor group.

What exactly were these "SWFs" like? Because due to the Survivor status icons, it allows for some SWF-level communication without needing to be in a SWF. Maybe you just kept running into good players who knew what to do and how to read the status updates?

You completely missed my main point and trying to strawman

These are all classic new player issues.

Using Discord or PSN or Xbox Live Party Chat shouldn't be bannable EVER. That's a terrible idea and it has been suggested ad nauseam for 7 years by people in your exact position.

Completely disagree, using a 3rd party means to communicate which in turn tips the balancing and eliminates the need for a ton of perks to help know where your team is so you can run a bunch of OP perks making the match just completely unfun for the killer should be 1000% bannable if a proximity chat was ever implemented.

  • I've only started playing last month, I've seen and played against every killer besides Oni and the demogorgon. Dont know how those killers work. Every Killer's power is pretty obvious after one game, but after playing against Freddy 4x I still have no clue what's going on or what that dream state even does. The game doesn't tell you want each status icon to the right means either.

  • I play both sides, killer and survivor. I'm a newer player but I genuinely don't think the game is balanced very well at all, especially if you throw swf into the mix. I dont bring an item it because I don't think you should be able to, I think items should be exclusive to loot crates around the map. If I had it my way specific locations on the map would house a specific item so there's no element of chance based on which item you get. Loot crates near sheds always house toolboxes and flashlights, loot crates in houses always house first aid kits, etc.

But yeah, I dont bring items in because I just don't think they're fair for the killer.

  • The issue is SWF, don't think bodyblocking the hook itself is the issue. Coordinating on a 3rd party application completely tips the game's balancing far over to the survivor side.
