  • Tunnel in or towards end-game, at that point anything goes if you're struggling. But if your main strategy is to tunnel every single survivor out of your matches, that shows a very clear skill gap that you're going to struggle to overcome.

As a killer, I can tell you don't need to tunnel. I very rarely tunnel survivors unless they're annoying/over-confident. Tunnelling is not a mechanic that you should always rely on, just like you're told never to rely on camping/NOED/Ruin. By tunnelling, you showed no skill there. You went after one person, hooked them, and then continued to pressure them because they were in a vulnerable position. That's not an impressive feat. You can just as easily apply pressure, if not better pressure by going after each survivor one by one. Interrupt their gens. Interrupt their heals. Keep them on their toes. *Show some skill*.

As a survivor, and an experienced one, I can tell you that tunnelling guarantees one kill. Sure. But if I see someone on my team getting tunnelled, usually I will make no effort to save them from chases. They're the Chosen One now. They'll recognise that I'm not going to help them and waste your time as much as possible. Because there are so many killers in low MMR that resort to tunnelling. It's imprinted in survivor mains' brains.

  • I really feel like players own sense of game knowledge should carry them through this issue.

Survivors have a HUD that now allows them to see what action each player is doing. Running a perk like Bond (or even Kindred) will allow you to see where a person is generally.

We don't need comp callouts or "I'm over at X/Y/Z!". Just use your head. If you saw someone on Kindred (which should be a perk everyone is running on solo queue if they want to play optimally) working on a gen, don't take the killer in that direction in a chase if you haven't seen that gen pop.

All of these complaints on the topic are pretty easily debunked/explained.

Kyto has some good Youtube videos on tips for solo queue. If you guys struggle with solos so much, I'd advise his channel!

  • I advise you to watch tutorials for Chucky. You're able to mitigate the 90-degree cap and allow for a streamlined curve if you position yourself correctly.

If you're unable to position yourself correctly, I advise you to watch tutorials for game knowledge.

  • I agree! It's a cool idea for this to go onto the ESC menu (for PC, I think it's the Start button on controllers)! That was my first thought when I read the title of your post.

  • I went against a competitive player as Nurse yesterday and she camped every single person to death. All she was doing was blinking through the anti-camp radius to patrol the hook just outside the radius, and when she noticed that each person went to second stage, she would get closer as she knew the timing for the self-unhook meter and it allowed her to actually face camp everyone to death.
